I made these for one of the Easter dinners I am attending this weekend. I used the carrot cake recipe from Joy of Baking and the cream cheese frosting recipe from Annie’s Eats. I added a pinch of nutmeg and allspice to the cake batter.
Because I’m a rebel.
They smell amazing. I had to hold myself back from biting off a Peep butt while taking pictures. Something about the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg makes me all tingly inside.
The “eggs” are M&Ms.
