What can I say? I live in a rural area. And they’re sort of fun.
White cake, dyed black, brown, and green. Topped with orange buttercream. To achieve a camouflage effect, you add batter into the liners one tablespoon at a time alternating between the colors. Quickly swirl a toothpick through the batter once. You don’t want to over swirl or you will end up with a “marble” effect.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cupcakes (add mini chocolate chips to your favorite chocolate cake batter) topped with chocolate buttercream streaked with green topped and an orange candy melt “K” (same technique I used here).
I’m looking forward to trying the same technique in pink or blue. Pink camo cupcakes anyone?
