The Easter Massacre, Part I – Chocolate Dipped Peeps

My husband loves me. A little too much. He likes to buy me things I love. Including all of the things that are bad for me and keep me pleasantly plump.

When you combine a holiday like Easter, dedicated to chocolate bunnies and sugary treats with a husband who believes a small mountain of said chocolate bunnies and sugary treats will just make you the most happiest girl in all the land, there is only one thing to do.

Go on a murderous rampage.

Then melt the corpse and dip unsuspecting victims in the remains.

Otherwise known as the chocolate dipped Peep.

Sometimes love hurts.

Stay tuned the rest of this week for posts dedicated to the question “What the fuck am I going to do with all of this Easter candy?”.

Racing Themed Birthday Party

I love birthdays. For other people, not for myself.

I really LOVE children’s birthdays and the parties that go along with them. If I were able to make money while throwing birthday parties, I totally would.

Luckily for me,  I have a kid. Who has birthdays.

He just turned 2 and had a birthday party based on his favorite phrase “Ready, Set, Go!” and one of his favorite toys:

So… here’s a birthday cake for you.

Most everyone knows I’m a frugal (okay, okay CHEAP) person. Would anyone be interested in a “Budget Birthday Party” type post? Or do you want me to stick to crappy pictures of pretty baked goods?
